Our Main Philanthropies
Breast Cancer Research
In the past few years, we have participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer through the American Cancer Society. We usually join the other sororities and encourage each other to raise money and fight for a good cause.
This year, we spiced things up a bit by combining efforts with Lawrence Tech to create a 5K walk around the Southfield, Michigan area where all proceeds went to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
We also frequently have 50/50 Raffles at LTU Hockey Games as well as, hold various other events to help raise money for Breast Cancer Research such as Dress Resales and Breast Cancer Walks.

Ronald McDonald House
Every fall and spring we go to the Ronald McDonald house in Detroit and serve a meal for the residents that live there. The house has 25 beautiful bedrooms that are often full of parents staying with their children at the hospital. It is nice for them to not have to worry about something to eat since they are so busy taking care of their child physically and mentally. It is a great opportunity to meet new people and hear some inspirational stories!
You will also notice our sorority collecting pop tabs every moment we get. We donate these pop tabs to Ronald McDonald House, so they can use the scrap metal to make a profit and use it to help fund their organization. We also have a Competition called 'Pop-Tab Wars' between the Greek Organizations on LTU's Campus to see who can collect the most Pop-tabs.
