After meeting the girls in Chi Omega Rho I knew I wanted to be a part of the fun and energy that they had. The fact that this is a business sorority is appealing and will open up many opportunities in my future. I would have to say my best memory is initiation. It was one of the few moments in my life where I have been fully proud of myself. |

I immediately felt comfortable with the girls and I could see myself calling them my sisters. Getting my Big! Alexa was probably the main person that kept me sane during pledging and helped me through everything. |

Allyson Andrews Patrick Feliksa Logan Delonis (Alpha Sigma Phi) & Finnegan Lyall (Sigma Phi Epsilon) Residential Assistant Mega Rose Award (Spring 2017) I never thought that I would join a sorority. I hang out with mostly guys and my tolerance for useless drama is non-existent. So imagine my surprise when one of my guy friends dragged me into the atrium, me being persuaded by the food, I found a sorority that is different from all the others. They handled drama with straightforward communication, had a strong sisterhood, loved food, genuinely cared about me and practiced business skills. After becoming closer with the sisters I knew that I made the right choice. Cedar Point while I was pledging, because that weekend I got a glimpse into the future to see the sisters that I would soon have. I learned a lot about each person that went to Cedar Point. I saw how our sorority handles problems and how dedicated every member is to Chi Omega Rho. And I also learned that I need to stay in school because I do not want to be a fry cook for the rest of my life. |

Katie Vantine Nick Hysick (Sigma Phi Epsilon) Noah Sultana (Sigma Phi Epsilon) I chose to join Chi Omega Rho because I wanted to feel like I belonged somewhere. The very first time I met the girls at Spring Rush 2016 I fell in love with all of them. They pretty much all accepted how loud and obnoxious I am along with how crazy my laugh is. The events that we did throughout the week of rush and following my pledging process were so much fun as well. My pledge process finally ended with an amazing performance at Song & Skit along with a fantastic run at Greek Day which is a weekend I will never forget. One of my favorite memories besides Song & Skit / Greek Day was my pledging process. Even with it being stressful and extremely tedious I enjoyed every single moment of it. From learning the history of Chi Omega Rho to getting to know all of the girls. I enjoyed most, if not all of the assignments we had to do throughout this process and I believe it changed me for the better. |

Alaina Crandell Patrick Quanja (Alpha Sigma Phi) and Dan Finn (Theta Tau) None Captain of the Steel Bridge Team, Member of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), & Member of Society of Women Engineers (SWE) The reason I chose to join Chi Omega Rho is because every person's personality within the sorority is different and unique. They made me feel loved during a time in my life when I needed some sisterly love to keep me going and for that I am truly grateful. I now feel honored to be a part of this sisterhood. Pledging. My pledge class (of 5) got along really well together. I love my pledge sisters more with each passing day because of the process we had to go through together to become official Chi Omega Rho sisters. I am very proud of all of them, and myself, for making it through the pledging process without even having a single fight. |
